“During a long and frustrating search for my new equine partner, a post by Mirror Image advertising “Rolls Royce” caught my eye. The many videos in the ad links really grabbed my interest.
But he was too far away for a quick trip to meet him and I was due to be travelling overseas soon. It’s completely against my nature to buy a horse sight unseen, but Nicole and Mattea minimised the risk without being at all pushy. Nicole was super-responsive, answered all my probing questions, sent more videos, happily accommodated a trial ride by a friend of my instructor, arranged appointments and Mattea trucked him to the vet for a PPE at short notice.
Then when I decided he was The One, they handled all the international paperwork, liaised with the haulers and me (on the other side of the world), and sat up past midnight to load him.
Without their responsiveness, transparency and willingness to video or photograph anything I asked for I would never have felt comfortable buying this young horse I had never met.
And … now that I have met him I can see he is everything Nicole said he was.
In their care he had clearly been exposed to everything plus the kitchen sink, had consistent training and been allowed to be a horse at the same time. They did right by him - and me.”
